Paul Collins

Hall of Fame Class of 2023.  Manchester Class of 1986.  Paul was a three sport athlete during his time at Manchester.  While excelling as a rebounder in basketball and throwing the shot put  and discuss in track, he is best known for his football accomplishments.  A three year starter for the Lancer football team, Paul earned All-State, All-Metro, All-Region, and All-District honors.  As one of the state's top 25 recruits according to the Roanoke Times and World News, Paul accepted a scholarship to play at the University of Virginia where he was a three year starter on the offensive line.  Paul was allocated by the NFL in 1991 to the World League of Football's Orlando Thunder until injuries ended his career.
