The Varsity Boys played a hard fought match against fellow conference opponent Cosby, but fell 0-4 to one of the area's top 5 teams. The Lancers threatened several times, and had a couple of very solid scoring opportunities that required strong defensive saves by their opponent during the first half, which ended with Manchester down 0-1. The second half saw an increased tempo in play by both squads, with the Lancers again having threatening opportunities, but were unable to connect against a strong back line. The boys will play at home against another conference team when they meet Clover Hill on 3/28/17.
