Tryouts for NEW Lancer Lax players will be held on:

FULL PRACTICE 2/21:  4:30pm - 6pm (Monday-Thursday in a regular week) and Saturday 10:30am-12pm (until time change) 

PARENT MEETING:  Monday 2/27 @ 6pm Bailey Bridge Bus Loop Weather Permitting

FIRST GAME SCRIMMAGE:  3/1 at Mechanicsville

PLAYER PACKAGE, EQUIPMENT RENTAL and Team Store!!

$85 - Player package will include NAVY and WHITE shooter shirts, NAVY GAME SHORTS and Lancer Lax Booster Membership.  

$100 - Players may rent helmets ($75), shoulder pads ($25) and sticks.  There is an option to buy out right if you would:  $225 for the helmet and $100 for shoulder pads.  You may purchase at any time.  

TEAM STORE WILL OPEN THE FIRST WEEK!  Required items would be the purchase of a practice jersey and game day polo if needed.  The boosters do have a variety of sweatshirts, shirts and beanies readily available.

CAMERA PERSON NEEDED!!!

We have purchased an AMAZING camera package for the team, but we need a student (responsible and volunteer hours available or parent) to volunteer and dedicate their time to doing this for us.  Film sessions were vital to our success last year and we have invested in ensuring this continues.

SCOREKEEPER FOR JV NEEDED!!

We have been lucky enough over the last few seasons to have an AWESOME scorekeeper for both JV and Varsity.  However, Misty Smith will be doing VARSITY only this year.  That means we NEED a JV scorekeeper.  This can be a student (volunteer hours) or parent.  So if you know someone let me know!

BUS VOLUNTEER - JUST IN CASE

With Tommy, Luis and being students and myself being a teacher we need to have a volunteer lined up to ride the bus with the boys just in case non of us can make it to the school on time.

If you are interested in playing lacrosse in the spring please join us on Wednesday 10/12 at 7pm in the closed commons at MHS.  No experience necessary and lacrosse is open to student athletes 8th-12th grade.

Lancer Lax summer workouts will begin Tuesday 7/11.  Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:45pm-9:15pm in the MHS Weight Room.  This is open to all rising 8th graders and up that may be interested in playing for the Lancers this year!!

ALL 2022/2023 PAPERWORK MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO WORKING OUT!
