Perhaps the most impressive game of the season was played last night! With a depleted line up, 13 active players, the Lancers traveled to Clover Hill. This match was well played, by a very determined group of athletes, that never quit. The Lancers held the Cavaliers scoreless in the first 57 minutes of the game, Clover Hill finally was able to break the deadlock by netting a deflected ball. The Lancers continued to battle, generating a few scoring chances of their own. Unfortunately, we were unable to level the score. Final: Clover Hill 1, Manchester 0. Jillian Barthlow secured 11 saves in goal, many of which showed her skills and development as a keeper developing at an impressive clip.
