The Manchester Lady Lancers are led by 13 year pro (France) and former Old Dominion University Monarch (1999-2003) standout Rasheed Wright. He achieved all conference honors,  scored over 1000 career points, and also earned a degree in Communications. He then played professionally in France for 13 years from 2003 - 2016. Coach Rasheed was born in Richmond, Va and raised in Greensboro, NC. He has since retired to the Chesterfield area, with his wife and 4 daughters. He has dedicated himself to teaching the game of basketball from his experiences to youth of all ages and skill sets.

His focus is on developing skill but most importantly how that skill translates to the game and life. Energy, effort and focus are the 3 pillars that will be consistently enforced for all athletes that are a part of the Lady Lancer program.  We look forward to building a culture of work ethic, good habits, and basketball IQ.
