Out of season conditioning will begin on May 24th. We will have conditioning on Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 in the gymnasium. Spring sports do have priority so please click on the calendar attached to view dates and times in case we have to cancel due to weather. Girls Volleyball Working Calendar

Anyone interested should enter through door 18 by the tennis courts. Athletes will have their temperatures checked daily.

When we begin conditioning students are required to have:

- their own mask

- their own water bottle, labeled with their name

- all required paperwork turned in {all documents can be found under the Team Files tab}

Tryout dates & times - August 2-4 (4 PM - 8 PM) in the main gymnasium - All athletes should enter through door 18 by the tennis courts

The Manchester High School Athlete's Packet can be picked up in the front office or you can print off all paperwork that is located under the TEAM FILES tab. 

PAPERWORK REQUIRED FOR TRYOUTS

1. 2021-2022 VHSL Physical completed, signed and dated after May 1, 2021

2. Concussion Form

3. Insurance Form

4. Sportsmanship Form

5. VCU Health Form

6. Pass at least 5 classes last school year

TRYOUT CRITERIA

1. Passing ability based on the standard 0-3 point scale

2. Service %, accuracy, diversity, ability

3. Hitting %, accuracy, diversity, ability

4. Setting ability, accuracy, diversity

5. Athleticism & level of conditioning

6. Sportsmanship & Character

7. Effort & Hustle
