Midlothian Defeats Resilient Manchester Lancers Varsity
Manchester Lancers Varsity fought back after falling down by five runs in the third inning. The comeback fell just short though, in a 5-3 defeat to Midlothian on Tuesday. Manchester Lancers Varsity scored three runs in the failed comeback on a stolen base by Taylor Hendricks and a groundout by Sarah Connell.
Manchester Lancers Varsity couldn't keep up with Midlothian early in the game. Midlothian scored on a groundout by Cassie Grizzard in the first inning, a single by Tate Swecker in the second inning, a single by Reece Farleigh in the second inning, and a single by Emma Salzman in the second inning.
